Your gift will help us recruit, develop, and retain the next generation of SSP leadership. As a tribute to Rick Eaton’s 17 years of service, SSP created the fund in his honor in 2018. SSP provides leadership training and mentoring to 20+ young adult staff each year. The Fund supports staff professional development, cross-cultural sensitivity, presentation skills, project management, construction training, conflict resolution, budgeting, and much more.
In addition, our summer staff learn about the communities they serve, the challenges faced in under-resourced communities, the leaders that support them, and how best to be an advocate for social injustices.
