Free Hands-On Tool Workshops: Feb-May 2026
The North Sacramento Free Tool Library is offering a series of free public workshops. Each session teaches hands-on skills using real tools and materials, helping neighbors build knowledge, confidence, and community.
Upcoming 2026 Workshops
- February 17: 3D Printing
- Learn the fundamentals of 3D Printing, and how to access SSP’s equipment.
- March 17: Picket to Planter Project Using Power Saws
- Build your own wooden planter while learning safe and effective use of power saws and other woodworking tools.
- April 21: Garden Arts & Crafts
- Learn how to create stress-relieving tea blends using garden herbs, make seed paper (or seed bombs), and make eco-friendly art.
- May 19: Soldering Electronics
- Get introduced to soldering and build a small project with LEDs and basic circuits. Perfect for anyone curious about electronics.
