Join SSP this summer for Days of Service with friends, food, and power tools! This opportunity is for middle and high school students looking to get outside and help their Rancho Cordova community this summer.
We will host Rancho Cordova Youth Days of Service:
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- July 1 through July 24
- Plus special Saturdays:
- Kick off on June 28th
- Closing on July 26th
Work days will be 9am-1pm with lunch included. For every three Days of Service completed, youth who are Rancho Cordova residents are eligible to receive a $50 stipend.
Most days, we will work on home repair projects at the Colonial Estates mobile home park. On Wednesdays, we will go off-site to volunteer with local organizations:
- Sorting books with Fitrah
- Distributing food with Rancho Cordova Food Locker
Over 40 hours of community service can be completed through this program!
