Leaders:  Prepare Your Team

Background checks, van rentals, site study guides and more-- we have resources on-line to help you get prepared for your summer adventure with Sierra Service Project.  Click on the appropriate link to find the information you need.  Be sure to call (916-488-6441) or email the office if you can't find something you need.

Interested in seeing who will be spending their week at SSP with you?  Take a look at our list of churches attending SSP this summer.

Counselor training!  It is very important that all first-time counselors are adequately prepared for their SSP experience.  If you have adult leaders who were unable to attend one of the training sessions, please contact the office and we will send you self-training materials.

Group Rosters: Due June 15  It is essential that every group complete a group roster by June 15. Download the form and email it back to administrator@sierraserviceproject.org  If you have any questions please contact the office.

SSP in the News

Read the excellent article about Sierra Service Project in the Riverside, California Press-Enterprise.

SSP is all about building:  building homes, building communities, building bridges between people and cultures, and building a relationship with God.  Rise up and build with us!

We are an independent, interdenominational Christian organization affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

SSP's Mission Trips

SSP has been providing life-changing service experiences for young people since 1975 in which young people learn first-hand the joys of Christian service to others.

Most of our projects take place on Indian reservations, where youth spend their days repairing homes and their evenings in worship, discussion and recreation.  We also operate a home-repair project in the City of Los Angeles and three home-building projects in Honduras.
