Tijuana, MexicoOur program in Tijuana, Mexico, was a first-time pilot program focusing on service and learning about the human dimension of the international border that separates the U.S. from Mexico. We held two week-long sessions, during which four houses were repaired by hard working teams and a large outdoor pad and awning was constructed at the Dios Es Amor Methodist Church in the Valle Verde colonia in Tijuana. This summer's program was a great experience for all of those involved and we hope - with some changes - to repeat it in 2009. Click on one of the images below to view the full photograph.
